I am slowly coming to realise that I've been conflating several M/M romance series, and the one I didn't really care for is entirely unrelated to this one, which I probably would actually enjoy, and wouldn't have mildly avoided had I worked this out sooner (Also, there was the time I thought that Jo Walton and Jo Graham were the same for ages, which made their collective output even stranger than Jo Walton's already is.)
