Celebrate a personal win from the past year

Ah finally, a chance to just boast a bunch!

This year I picked up my Japanese study game a lot. I'd been trying to keep up with it on and off but I went back to making a concerted effort to study with regularity in 2021 and I feel like it's paying off. I'm still trash at it but this month I finally sat down and read a native language short story at a decent level of comprehension.

I've also managed to maintain a couple of consistent habits. I'm at a 410 day streak on 4thewords, and even though what I write is often personal journal stuff and not fandom output, it used to be difficult to keep up the habit, and now it's gotten much easier. I was able to keep up with my habit tracking too, so I have a record of an entire year's worth of after work habits and will make time to digest that information sometime later.

I posted 33 game reviews on my side blog, and have set myself up for the possibility that I might finish all the VNs in the BLM game bundle by the end of this year.

And finally I started posting more regularly here and have found some mutuals who are very nice! It's made things feel a bit like the good old days again.
