One Piece, Overwatch, Other stuff

got_quietPhew. I can't even say that I've been particularly busy this month since it was last month that was the absolute killer, but my computer then died, and I've been dealing with catching up on a lot of stuff ever since. Still managed to get some leisure time in.
Been watching episodes of One Piece from the beginning, one or two in a sitting. The Crunchyroll vids often don't have English subtitles so it's actually good listening practice. I miss a lot, but not nearly as much as I thought I would. I like Shounen anime more than any other genre and I don't know why I haven't started this series earlier. It's a lot of fun.
OWL has been a roller coaster this year. Looking at my last post, already a lot has changed. The Outlaws are so miserable right now it's hard to watch. Kellex is literally the last man standing from Boston's roster, I never thought I'd find myself liking Dallas more than Houston, but that is now the case, and of all the teams I cheer on somehow Seoul has recovered and is the strongest of the lot, though Glads are doing well too.
Because I have a new PC I'm both broke as fuck right now and also can play current games for the first time in something like 15 years, so I tried out that Assassin's Creed Unity. The city is cool and the plot is, well, there, but the gameplay is pretty dull. Combat is trivial unless you're under leveled at which point it's hellish. Main quests don't seem to require any finesse at all, and even though there's a big map to explore, I've been having trouble finding anything to do in that. On top of that there's play to in and multiplayer elements that really piss me off. And the English accents. What the fuck, Ubisoft? Who makes a story about the French Revolution and employs nothing but the most stereotypical English accents? I'd complain about American media but isn't Ubisoft a French company? Maybe I should see if there's a way to change the audio language...
