Detroit: Become Human? In 2024?

One of my roommates is not much of a gamer at all and struggles mightily with controllers in the best of times, so the shit controls of Detroit were really rough for him. At one point we were actually in stitches cause he was trying to get something done on a time limit and it was a comedy of errors trying figure out how to open a door.
Because of that, I gave him Connor because you can get Connor shot a dozen times and it's not game over for you, which he definitely needed, so he's kind of been doing the best out of all of us. I'm playing Marcus and my other roommate Kara, and the two of us are fucking up left and right. Even though I've seen playthroughs, I don't remember any of the right choices and am the absolute worst at these sorts of games because I get impatient, overthink choices, I forget details, don't check my objectives, and I change my mind constantly about what path I want to take. I was so bad at this shit that that Markus ended up failing every one of his missions in spectacular fashion. After not getting a single thing done I thought I really had the break into the store thing at least, but simply forgot to turn off the fucking alarm lol. So my Marcus got couped and exiled. The only thing I'm actually good at is the quick time events and Marcus has very few of those.
Meanwhile our Kara player is doing slightly better. She got all the way to Rose without much disaster, but she gets immediately flustered by any sort of time pressure (a trait I share) and just makes a decision immediately, so when the cop came to Rose's house she just opened the door for him right away and tunnel visioned on getting him coffee, which got Luther killed, RIP. Her quicktime game is awful so I honestly don't know if Kara is alive in our game anymore after she got knocked out on the ship. We'll see in our next session.
Early on our Connor player grocked the fact that the only thing important in this game is getting Hank to fall in love with you lol. The constant commentary between us has been hilarious and our Connor really was going hard on the dating game aspect, but because we're all so shit at this game he just did not figure out that you need to be deviant to make Hank trust you, and I have refused to spoil anything, so when the time came to break with the precinct Hank was like, you're on your own, and fucked off, which I have never seen before because everyone loves Hank. And then our Connor almost completely fucked up the evidence room. He got the data with maybe 10 seconds to spare after the other two of us broke our vows of silence and started coaching him on where to go out of pity. He then killed the racist cop, which, good riddance tbh. Even though we were on the floor laughing as Connor was desperately trying to open the evidence door the truth is he's doing better than any of us, even though he later chose becoming terminator Connor instead of going deviant. This run is a complete mess and it's hilarious. I honestly have no idea how this is going to play out.

It's a real struggle! I nearly got Kara killed straight out of the gate because I struggled so much with closing a door under pressure. Closing a door isn't supposed to be that complicated a manoeuvre, Detroit: Become Human.
